Japanese meal series

▼Shio Ramen + Sake Ikura Gohan at SANTOUKA Glorietta. The ramen was a bit too sweet and the gohan (rice) was too much watersome spoiling the precious taste of salmon and salmon caviar. They shouldn't set such expensive prices; I didn't pay any tip... (Photos taken with Nokia N70)

▼Shoyu Ramen at ICHIRAKU RAMEN BENTO in GT Tower, H.V. Dela Costa Street Corner Ayala Avenue, Salcedo Village, Makati City. Said was shoyu but obviously tonkotsu soup. Also said they are Yokohama Ramen, though I don't think tonkotsu is for Yokohama but for Kyushu for sure. Having been owned by YOSHIDA-SEIMEN, the noodle itself was fairly good and the seemingly ready-made soup was OK! Can't complain for the price, OK masarap! (Photos taken with Nokia N70)

▼Buta Shogayaki Teishoku at Japanese SHOKUDO in Cartimar, Pasay City. It was cheap, but masarap! Absolutely the Japanese taste; the young Filipino chef must have been experienced Japan in authentic way and also the rice was the real Japanese rice!!! The name of carinderia deserves to its taste, highly recommended! (Photos taken with Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P3)

▼Tsuna Sushi and Ebi Fry at HANAKO Dona Soledad Branch, Brgy Don Bosco, Parañaque City. For just P189 the tsuna nigiri tasted totally OK! but the dish menu's rice was no good (even though a waiter said it's Japanese rice it's absolutely not). (Photos taken with Sony Cyber-shot DSC-P3)

▼Zaru Soba, Inari Zushi and Tendon at KOMORO SM Megamall, Mandsluyong City. All in all it's P238 only! and tastes pretty authentic better than KOMORO SM Southmall with good frying condition of the tempura and appropriate hardness of the cooked rice. Sad thing was that the soba was not cold but warm. (Photos taken with Nokia 215 Dual Sim)

▼Genkotsu Shoyu Ramen + Butameshi + Iced Tea Set at Ramen KAGETSU ARASHI Paseo Center, Paseo De Roxas, Makati City. The ramen soup's "umami" was somehow a bit less than the one I tasted in Japan (Hamamatsu) but almost same as the original and OK level, but the Butameshi. It's tooo salty to such extent as more than the French Fry in a fast food restaurant and Filipino Chiken Adobo; I needed to drink the tea every after biting it! (Photos taken with Nokia N70)
